Sick: NJ Education Union wants Christie Dead

Posted on 09 April 2010

WCBSTV is reporting today that the Bergen County Record obtained a memo that including a prayer for the death of Governor Chris Christie:

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie isn’t laughing about a teachers union’s memo that hints of his death.

The memo is the latest salvo in a war of words between Christie and the union over wage and benefits concessions.

The Record of Bergen County obtained the Bergen County Education Association memo that includes a closing prayer:

“Dear Lord this year you have taken away my favorite actor, Patrick Swayze, my favorite actress, Farrah Fawcett, my favorite singer, Michael Jackson, and my favorite salesman, Billy Mays. I just wanted to let you know that Chris Christie is my favorite governor.”

Isn’t it interesting that a “teachers” union would be circulating memos calling for the death of a state governor? And in a hilarious twist, a prayer. I thought the NJ teachers unions didn’t believe in prayer in schools!

Here’s hoping that there is a criminal investigation. That’s what national Democrats would call for if this was a Republican.

Interesting if you consider this. If this actually occurred/was circulated, consider what the true underlying message is

“Dear Lord this year you have taken away my favorite actor, Patrick Swayze (made a facical movie about transvestites), my favorite actress, Farrah Fawcett (fought drug addiction), my favorite singer, Michael Jackson (fought drug addiction and died of overdose and alleged child predator), and my favorite salesman, Billy Mays (died of drug overdose). I just wanted to let you know that Chris Christie is my favorite governor.”

While someone was probably trying to be cute with a peice of off color humor, this does expose a serious question of the values of some of the people who have your children for up to 8 hours of the day. This sort of behavior does not represent the majority of teachers of NJ but it certainly does expose a few who should be scrutinized closely.
