Another Vacation story: Connie Denault – Florida conservative

Posted on 06 April 2010

Given that I have already posted the pics from the American Solutions event and protest in St Petersburg, most of you are aware of my vacation protest encounter. While walking around, I spoke to some folks at the event in support of the American Solutions event and conservative thinking in general.

One of the folks was Connie Denault. He is running for State Representative for district 52. I talked to his people and then to Connie himself (above) and was impressed with their simple yet powerful approach to change in Florida. Connie’s campaign is promoting three things:

1. Creating jobs
2. Cutting wasteful spending
3. Reforming Florida’s insurance mess

They are battling an incumbent that may have lost touch with the needs of Floridians. It seems to me that the folks in St Pete should take a look at Connie. I know I am from New Jersey and maybe should just butt out…but I like what I heard. We need politicians like Connie here.
